Prayers

The following prayers should be spoken or chanted before any ritual or period of practice. It is recommended that you pick a tradition of your choice. You should use the prayer that opens the energies, then the prayer to the Higher Force, which will take various names depending on the tradition you prefer. The English translations are never the exact meaning of the Sanskrit version, because of the many synonyms found in the Sanskrit language, and the various applications of the same word, depending on the context. The translations will at least give you a good idea, but you should not stop your interpretation at the words; some of these prayers are also "dharani", formulas meant for the consciousness, with less meaning for the mind. I also have a small accent, that the professional will notice in the audio recordings.

Opening the way: Dandapati prayer

Vocal

First, as a prayer to open the energy channels and remove obstacles, also to call forth protection, chant the "Dandapati" prayer, given by the Bodhisattva Samantabadhra, in the last chapter of the Lotus Sutra. Visualize yourself holding a stick/staff, sitting on the back of a white elephant. The white elephant is 30 feet long, jeweled in beauty, with 6 giant tusks, and clears the path where you go. Visualize an energy around you and the elephant, protecting both of you. Danda = Stick, usualy used for correction or punishment, Pati = Lord.

Charging this prayer: This prayer is more powerful when you have read and meditated on the Lotus Sutra. For 28 days in a row, recite the Dandapati prayer, then read one chapter of the lotus sutra per day, then meditate for 30 minutes on the meaning of the wisdom. It is more demanding than you think because the consciousness of the Lotus Sutra enters in you. Then, your recitations of the Dandapati will be more powerful.

Great compassionate Dharani of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshwara
In Sanskrit: Mahakaruna Dharani

Vocal

Techno music version

The following prayer is to Avalokiteshwara, also known as Kuan-Yin in China, and Kannon in Japan. Avalokite = Beholding eye, Ishwara = Great Lord. Avalokiteshwara means "Lord of the All Seeing Eye", or something close to it. Mahakaruna = great compassionate.

Charging this prayer: For 41 straight days, say the introduction, then recite the Mahakaruna Dharani 21 times each day. Once charged, future recitation of the prayer will be much more powerful, and will open the way to powerful mudra and mantra techniques only available to those who hold this mantra (have charged it and chanti it often). Contact us for more information on these techniques.

Introduction:

Namo Mahakaruna Avalokitesvara, May I quickly know all Dharmas;
Namo Mahakaruna Avalokitesvara, May I soon obtain the Wisdom Eye;
Namo Mahakaruna Avalokitesvara, May I quickly ferry all living beings
Namo Mahakaruna Avalokitesvara, May I soon obtain virtuous skillful means
Namo Mahakaruna Avalokitesvara, May I quickly board the Prajna Boat;
Namo Mahakaruna Avalokitesvara, May I soon transcend the ocean of suffering;
Namo Mahakaruna Avalokitesvara, May I quickly achieve precepts, Samadhi and the Way;
Namo Mahakaruna Avalokitesvara, May I soon ascend the mountain of Nirvana;
Namo Mahakaruna Avalokitesvara, May I quickly dwell in the house of non-action;
Namo Mahakaruna Avalokitesvara, May I soon unite with the Dharma-Nature Body.

If I go towards the mountain of knives, the mountain of knives of itself breaks up;
If I go towards the boiling oil, the boiling oil of itself dries up;
If I go towards the hells, the hells of themselves disappear;
If I go towards the hungry ghosts, the hungry ghosts of themselves become full.
If I go towards the Asuras, their evil thoughts of themselves are tamed.
If I go towards the animals, they themselves attain great wisdom.

Buddha of Medecine

Vocal

This prayer invokes the presence of the Buddha of Medecine, also known as the Medecine King and Master of Medicine. It is a prayer to the completely awakened self, to bring forth healing in us and others, following the intention we put in it.

Charging this prayer: Recite 108 times per day, for 108 days. This process might seem to require a lot of energy, and it is the case. For the consciousness to be able to influence physical matter, there are higher requirements. You can use a mala (prayer necklace) to count the prayers, and the mala will also transform in a healer talisman. Click here for good quality malas.
